    Hello Rob,

I just finished watching the news this morning and heard your advise to colllege students about financial issues and student loans. I have loans from undergrad and now am about two sememsters from completing my graduate degree. I will have loans from my Masters degree as well. I am looking at going for my PhD and will need to take more loans.

After listening to you this morning I am thinking of holding off, I really dont need more debt from school loans.

    What do you think?

      Hey Brandy,

Thanks for watching! I think it depends on what you are looking to do with your PhD. Is it necessary right now? Could you get a company to pay for it in the future? Will you earn enough to comfortably pay back the loans once you have completed your degrees?

The goal that you have in mind for using your degrees will likely dictate whether you should take on more debt or not.

      Rob

Good stuff Rob.. keep up the good work. It’s refreshing to see young students being exposed to careers and opportunities that although may be less “flashy” but are so much more rewarding to both them and their community. We need more of this!
